Alicia Lynn Diaz is a Certified Ayurvedic Health Practitioner and is not licensed in the state of California. There is currently no license available for the services provided. All services provided are complementary or alternative to health care services provided by health care practitioners currently licensed by the state of California.

Consultations and One-on-One Transformational Coaching will include discussion of the client/student's concerns and reason(s) for the visit, past treatment results, short term and long term health goals, current treatment options and client's expectations. A consultation will include an Ayurvedic assessment of the client as well as education related to Ayurvedic theory and practice. Recommendations may include information and instruction on dietary modifications, meal preparation, lifestyle adjustments, herbs, Yoga, Meditation, Marma (therapeutic use of energetic points), and Pranayama (breathing practices). Recommendations provided will be tailored to the unique needs of the client with the intention of assisting the client to achieve better health and a greater sense of well-being. Any new practices will be taught and then practiced with the client to ensure the client’s understanding and comfort level with the practice. Educational handouts/online resources will also be provided for the client to integrate at home as needed. Initial recommendations will be provided during the assessment, and if applicable, more detailed recommendations will be e-mailed to the client.
Nature of Coaching Relationship:
Alicia Lynn Diaz, MA, AHP offers Ayurvedic wellness services and transformational coaching sessions for your education, planning, self-reflection, and motivation. Please understand that coaching sessions are not psychological counseling, relationship counseling, medical services, nor any other type of counseling or therapy sessions. If you feel you need professional counseling or therapy, it is your responsibility to seek the help of a licensed professional.
If you are experiencing any disease state or symptom that has not been evaluated by a licensed medical doctor, you must seek appropriate medical advice from a licensed medical doctor, and you may be required to sign a form stating that you have been advised to seek medical advice. You acknowledge that an Ayurvedic coach cannot and will not prescribe, administer or opine on prescriptions or advice of a licensed health care providers.

Please understand that in the tradition of Ayurveda, and other alternative therapies, the integrated treatment of spirit, mind, and body is an inherent and core philosophy of health and wellness. For example, marma points, yoga poses, and breathing practices are understood to affect either the physical and/or spiritual and have been used in this manner for many centuries. There may be times when recommendations from a coach will result in the transformation of physical and emotional energy. These transformations may result in such feelings as sadness, grief, and anger or even joy and a sense of peacefulness. You understand that any support from your coach during such emotional expressions shall not be considered or interpreted as providing counseling in the manner of a licensed counseling professional, and is not a substitute for such care.
Alicia Lynn Diaz will maintain your information as confidential to the extent possible, however, Alicia Lynn Diaz will provide information as required by law or orders of the courts, or upon your written authorization. You have the right to access your own records and written information therein. You have the right to transfer your own records should you choose to work with a different provider of the complementary and alternative health services.
If you consent, your coaching phone calls may be monitored or recorded both for your reference as well as a part of our ongoing quality, process, and training for coaches.

Transfers, Program Changes, Missed and Rescheduled Sessions.
You must contact your coach via telephone at previously agreed upon times.
The phone number for your sessions is (760) 452-0889 for non-recorded sessions or a separate number will be provided if you would like to have your sessions recorded for your reference. You will be responsible for any telephone charges.
If you miss a scheduled coaching session, for any reason, without providing 24-hour notice to Alicia Lynn Diaz, that session will be considered completed.
If you begin a coaching session later than its scheduled time, that session will end as originally scheduled, irrespective of the length of the session, and be considered a completed session.
